I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, there was filtered water and high quality snacks provided every day, the room was big and comfortable and the hotel was a short walk to the train station. You can tell a lot of care has gone into everything and it allowed me to feel at home and relax. Kurashiki is a pleasant place with nice shops and restaurants and I used it as a base to explore the wider Seto Inland Sea area.

There was calming tranditional shamisen music playing over the speakers. In one word, the feeling of the hotel was 'serene'.

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en el hotel Maira cuando visitamos Okayama. La ubicación es excelente y el personal encantador. We had a very nice stay at Kurashiki Ivy Square. The room was well appointed, had a kettle and soaps and shampoos. There are three self serve washing machines that you can use for about $5 a load - bearing warned that washing and drying a load will take 2 hours. The staff is very accommodating and you are right in the middle of everything. A lovely town.

Highlight must be the buffet dinner which has amazing variety with quality. Can make your own hotpot with 4 different types of broth (Sukiyaki, Yuzu etc). Best breakfast buffet. My daughter had her first Ping pong experience and she enjoyed it.

One thing I particularly loved about Livemax Hotel Okayama was the excellent location. It was just a short walk away from train stations and several shopping centers, making it incredibly easy to explore the city and nearby areas.
